This collection of recordings forms part of Ruba Hillawi’s practice-based research into performing Iraqi Maqam suites on the oud as a solo instrument, featuring works in Maqam Orfa, Maqam Penjgah, and Maqam Awj. These were developed alongside a written dissertation.
